Apollo Infant Dynamic Replacement Mattress System - DYN/DIG/INFANT

Features

CLINICAL BENEFIT:
The alleviation of pressure between the patient and the mattress surface.

PERFORMANCE:
The mattress is intended to provide, as part of an overall plan of care, pressure redistribution to patients who are at risk of, or who have developed, a pressure related tissue injury. The mattress is intended to support a single patient who is up to 60kg in weight and 117cm in height.

FEATURES:
Apollo Infant Pump

Offering dual therapy modes;

• Alternating therapy mode – providing pressure redistribution over a 10 minute cycle in a AB (2 in 1) pattern.

• Constant Low Pressure (CLP) therapy mode – creating a static low pressure surface allowing immersion into the mattress.

• Max. inflate mode automatically inflates all cells to the maximum pressure setting 5 (firm). This can be beneficial when moving or repositioning a patient.

• Comfort control settings can be adjusted to ensure maximum user comfort. The default setting is 3 (1 is soft and 5 is firm).

• Audible and visual alerts for low pressure or power failure.

• Mute button - once an audible alert has been acknowledged the alert can be muted whilst the cause is investigated.

• Auto lockout – the pump will lockout after 2 minutes of inactivity to prevent accidental setting changes. An amber light indicates that the controls are locked.

• Integral hanging hooks enable the control unit to be suspended from the cot. A pump bracket is available for use with the Inspiration II Cot.

• Fully EN 60601-1, EN 60601-1-2 and EN 60601-1-11 compliant.

Apollo Infant Mattress

• The Apollo Infant mattress consists of 19 air cells which sit within a foam base and surround to provide additional stability.

• Designed for use with the Inspiration II cot or other cots with similar platform dimensions*.

• A transport mode facility is achieved by sealing the connector on the umbilical cord with the transport cap. The transport mode can be used for up to 12 hours to ensure that mattress pressure is retained in power outages or when transportation is required.

• The top Dartex® covers are multi stretch, water resistant and vapour permeable.

• An anti-fungal agent is encapsulated in the cover to help control microbial deterioration. The cover features a white inner substrate to assist in identifying signs of cover damage and strike-through.

• Two 180° zips allow ease of access to the internal cells/foam and the welded seams and waterfall flap reduce risk of fluid ingress.

• CPR function is easily activated by disconnecting the umbilical cord from the pump.

* Please check compatibility with the cot Instructions For Use.
