Inspiration 2 Cot

Overview

Designed and manufactured in the UK, the Inspiration 2 Cot is compliant with latest EN 50637:2017 paediatric bed safety standards. The cot features an electrically operated height adjustment and head / foot down platform tilt.

In case of power failure, the cot comes as standard with a battery back-up. The mattress platform panels are easy to remove, with surfaces that are easy to clean and decontaminate for effective infection control.

• The integral side rails are telescopic, drop-down rails that have 6 adjustable height positions

• Side rails cannot be accidentally lowered or operated by the infant

• Side Rail Heights (Above mattress platform): Position 1: 71.5cm, Position 2: 59cm, Position 3: 46.5cm, Position 4: 34cm, Position 5: 21.5cm, Position 6: 8cm

• The transparent head and foot ends are easily removable for 360° access

• The ends also aid visibility into the cot for monitoring the infant

• A playful bunny and butterfly design, and a modern pastel colour palette

• The design of the head and foot ends allows access for IV lines and other tubes at either side of the panels

• Easy to manoeuvre with its 12cm anti-static castors and colour coded linked brake bar pedals

• A useful drop-down shelf is located at the foot end, which can be folded away when not required (taking a load of 30kg)

• The shelf allows for dynamic pumps to be suspended if the shelf is being used or folded away

• The handset controls the cot height and head / foot down tilt functions, it will also automatically lock out after 30 seconds of inactivity

• Self-locking handset box, which is located underneath the shelf

• The 9005 models platform can be levelled quickly in an emergency situation by pulling the red CPR handles

• Protective buffers on each corner of the cot

• Two accessory sockets are available at the head end of the cot for IV poles or oxygen cylinder carriers

• A choice of static or dynamic mattress systems are available for use with the Inspiration 2 Cot
