Overview

The ACTIV8 Botero is an acute four section electrically profiling bed offering a safe working load of up to 400kg to care for plus size patients safely in hospital.

With a variable mattress platform width of 102 – 122cm, the ACTIV8 Botero can be adjusted to meet the needs of patients, carers and the environment. Complete with an in-built bed extension of 18cm, the ACTIV8 Botero can also accommodate taller patients comfortably while integrated cantilever side rails provide additional in-bed safety.

• Adjustable width and length expands the bed platform to ensure maximum comfort for patients

• Integrated bed extension of 18cm for the taller patient

• Auto regressing backrest

• Head and footboards can be adjusted in width

• Three quarter length, foldable cantilever side rails

• Height of bed can be adjusted via the handset

• A lockable patient handset for adjusting the backrest, knee break, autocontour and the platform height

• The widest platform width provides additional space for repositioning

• The adjustable width is also beneficial for easier passage through narrower doorways or busy corridors

• The backrest auto regresses by 11cm, minimising patient migration in bed

• Easy to use nurse handset including a pre-programmed auto contour profiling position function

• Additional functions of the nurse handset include; height, backrest, knee break, auto contour, CPR, examination and cardiac chair positions, Trendelenburg and Reverse

• Battery back up to adjust the bed in the case of power failure or when not connected to mains power

• In-built accessory sockets for lifting and IV poles

• Manual and electric CPR is available

• 15cm twin antistatic castors and a centralised braking system

• Bed frame is easy to clean and disinfect with an epoxy powder coating
