S1 Self Propel

Overview

The S1 wheelchairs are available with 61cm (24") self-propel and 32cm (12.5") transit wheels. The wheelchair is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, given its robust steel frame and easy fold mechanism for transportation. The S1 comes with vinyl upholstery and padded armrests, offering comfortable support which can be easily wiped clean.

The S1 Steel Wheelchairs, both Transit (CS1142T) and Self-Propel versions (CS1142SPMAG) are crash test compliant and suitable for use as a seat in a motor vehicle as per ISO 7176-19.

• 32cm (12.5") rear wheels on the transit model ease manoeuvrability for carer/attendant

• 61cm (24") composite mag rear wheels contain plastic hand rims on self-propelling model which are strong, resilient and lightweight

• Self Propel model comes with heel strap as standard for foot support

• Transit model comes with calf strap for additional leg support
