Theia Digital Pump

Overview

The Theia Digital Pump is part of the Theia and Eros dynamic pressure area care range, developed with flexibility and choice in mind; providing multiple system combinations to meet clinical needs. Moving away from a traditional dedicated pump and dynamic mattress system; Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare have developed mattress and cushion options that are compatible with bothpumps.

With two pumps to choose from; the Theia Digital Pump or Eros Dial Pump enable users to choose the control unit based on user preference or cost constraints. The mattress/cushion options can be stepped up or down to meet changing clinical needs, simply change the surface and keep the same pump.

• Compatible with the Hybrid-Power Mattress (MAT/HYB/POWER/2), Air on Air Mattress (AIR/MAT), Air On Foam Mattress (FULL/MAT), Mattress Overlay (OVERLAY/MAT), Hybrid-Power Cushion (CUSH/HYB/POWER/2) and Air On Foam 18" Cushion (DYN/CUSH/18)

• Audible and visual alerts for low pressure and power failure

• Alert mute button

• Auto lockout - the pump will lockout after 5 minutes of inactivity to prevent accidental setting changes

• Integral hanging hooks on pump to enable it to be suspended from the bed footboard

• Fully EN60601-1, EN60601-1-2 and EN60601-1-11 compliant; meeting the requirements for medical electrical equipment and medical electrical systems used in the home healthcare environment

• This interchangeable system reduces clinical training on multiple dedicated pumps and dynamic systems, whilst also reducing risks associated with medical devices in use due to standardised training and competency programs.

• The pumps and surfaces all share a number of common component and spare parts delivering cost savings whilst reducing the number of critical spare part stockholding. This contributes greatly to reducing the cost of ownership whilst simplifying in field service with reduced product downtime. Service support staff only have to carry minimal spare parts or one type of replacement pump to solve problems in the field; this greatly improves customer service, minimises client inconvenience and reduces down time of critical pressure support equipment.
