Overview

The CASA Elite Plus Bariatric Low Bed reaches a platform height of 23.5cm, reducing the risk of injury from patient falls. It is intended for use in community and residential care environments, offering an ideal balance of safety, functionality and aesthetic appeal for plus size patients.The Casa Elite Plus Community Bariatric Beds are available with covered or uncovered ends.

Developed in collaboration with our bed experts in Halifax, West Yorkshire, this four-section electrical profiling bed features adjustable head, foot and knee sections to support effective care delivery. It provides enhanced clinical, safety and comfort benefits for both patients and carers, helping to reduce complications associated with immobility.

• Slatted Platform allows for ease of cleaning, improved infection control and durability

• Lower Leg Section Ratchets enable the user’s calf to remain elevated

• Choice between standard 9 button handset or optional 10 button handset for Trendelenburg positioning

• Auto Contour - A pre-programmed profiling function that raises and lowers the backrest and knee break simultaneously

• Auto Regression - As the backrest rises (0°–70°), the base slides slightly backward to increase space in the pelvic area

• Reverse Trendelenberg - Provides a foot-down tilt of up to 12°, elevating the head end of the bed.

• Cardiac Chair Position - Creates a semi-seated, chair-like posture within the bed, combining the Auto Contour with optional Reverse Trendelenburg tilt

• Lower Leg Elevation - The CASA Elite Plus Bariatric Bed includes a ratchet mechanism to manually adjust the leg and calf section.
