Our UK Journey

2007–2012: 

Drive expanded into the UK through the acquisition of Medicare Technology, followed by Welland Medical and Aquajoy, establishing strong foundations in mobility, daily living aids and bathing solutions.

2012–2014: 

Mountway and Days Healthcare joined the group, strengthening our position in bathroom safety, beds and powered mobility.

2015: 

A pivotal year with the addition of Specialised Orthotic Services, Park House Healthcare and DeVilbiss Healthcare, significantly expanding our clinical, pressure care and respiratory capabilities and forming Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.

2017:  

Sidhil joined the group, consolidating our expertise in acute and community care beds alongside UK manufacturing and servicing.

2026:  

Following acquisition by Kingswood Capital Management, we returned to our roots as Drive Medical, building on over 130 years of UK manufacturing heritage and creating a strong platform for future growth.

Today, Drive Medical offers a comprehensive portfolio of life-enhancing healthcare equipment built on innovation, functionality and trusted quality. Our range now spans thousands of products including mobility aids, beds, wheelchairs, pressure area care, bathroom safety and commodes, respiratory equipment, paediatric rehabilitation, patient room equipment, personal care, daily living aids and electrotherapy devices.
