About Home Oxygen Therapy
We have decades of expertise in the design, manufacture and supply of world-leading respiratory products for use in home oxygen therapy and treatments. Home oxygen therapy is vital to hundreds of thousands of people suffering with declining oxygen levels, here's how we help.

What is an Oxygen Concentrator?
An oxygen concentrator is a medical device used to deliver supplemental oxygen to people struggling with low blood oxygen levels (also known as hypoxemia). This device improves oxygenation to help support vital organ function and enhance quality of life. We supply a variety of respiratory products to aid the enhancement of independence and/or quality of life for those who need it. This process is often referred to as oxygen therapy.

Health conditions
Why Do People Need Oxygen Therapy?
A person might need oxygen therapy if they are suffering with a chronic respiratory disease such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), emphysema or pulmonary fibrosis - all of which can impair lung function and reduce oxygen intake (causing hypoxia).
Other acute medical conditions including pneumonia, COVID-19 and severe bronchitis can cause temporary hypoxia requiring supplemental oxygen therapy via a concentrator. Oxygen therapy may also be required during post-operative healing, or for help with sleep disorders such as obstructive sleep apnoea, or other sleep-related breathing issues. Individuals residing or travelling at high altitudes with reduced oxygen levels may also require supplemental oxygen, such as climbers and mountaineers.
Types of Oxygen Therapy
Most people in need of oxygen therapy will utilise a 5L/min oxygen concentrator, this is because it is suitable for use for people suffering with mild respiratory issues and these are common. These products are compact, more affordable and suitable for home use. Additionally, they can deliver a high concentration of oxygen (up to 90-95%) at lower flow rates, which is more than sufficient for many patients.
Some patients might need more intense oxygen therapy, and in these cases, they may need a 10L high-flow oxygen concentrator, which offers a higher flow rate. Patients tend to need a higher flow rate when they are suffering with more severe oxygen deficiency. These patients might be suffering from advanced lung diseases or critical hypoxia.
Some cases may need even higher flow rates depending on their condition. There are some illnesses that can cause rapid oxygen depletion, these can be managed with a higher flow which a 10L device can provide. Larger flow concentrators offer more precise control over higher oxygen delivery rates.
All of these products are designed to safely and effectively manage oxygen delivery rates and levels to sustain patient comfort and condition stability.
We also offer:
- Mobile oxygen support - Patients who require oxygen support while travelling, working or engaging in daily activities need portable oxygen systems.
- Short term use - For outings, vacations or medical emergencies portable oxygen cylinders or small concentrators are suitable.
- Long-term mobility: Lightweight battery-operated portable concentrators provide independence without being tethered to a fixed unit.
