Carbon Fibre hits the Drive Medical Scooter Range!!

Drive Medical’s exciting programme of product development continues, as they are delighted to launch an exceptional addition to their range of folding scooters: the AIRFOLD PRO. This auto-folding scooter has been designed using carbon fibre and takes premium to the next level, bringing something new and unique to the Drive Medical portfolio. The AIRFOLD PRO offers innovative features not found on other Drive Medical scooters and weighs only 20kg with the batteries removed, making it the lightest true four-wheel auto-folding scooter in the company’s history.

Following the success of the Airfold Powerchair and the positive customer feedback we received, we were determined to develop a scooter that would follow in its footsteps. The result is an innovative scooter with a corrosion-resistant and super-lightweight carbon fibre frame that can be folded automatically in seconds — all elements designed to truly enhance the user experience.”

This slimline, stylish scooter is simple to use and auto-folds in 20 seconds using a two-stage process for additional safety if accidentally operated. It features a digital LCD screen displaying speed, battery power, travel time and mileage. Additional features include a convenient USB charger, an onboard charging port and a height-adjustable tiller to suit individual user requirements.

This new scooter features two lightweight, removable lithium-ion 25.2V, 5Ah battery packs (airline friendly) and can be charged on or off board. It offers a maximum range of 9.3 miles (15km), a top speed of 4mph, solid puncture-proof tyres and an impressive maximum user weight of 125kg (19.7st).
